Pwize Guidelines
-
Procedure:
- At the beginning of the shift, PrizeMaster calls for anipals to follow them for prizes. Repeat this information at least twice.
- PrizeMaster announces next prize giving details (i.e. twitter name of donor. a photo of the prize, and the webpage link which shows the prize). If any of that information is missing, give as many details as are available.
- Prize Master calls for DMs several times whether it be 15 or 30 minutes between prizes.
- Prize Master to warn how much time is left to DM before prize is drawn e.g. 5 minutes, 2 minutes or 30 seconds.
- Prize Master to advise the TIME UP and how he will choose the winner.
- Prize Master may determine the winner by:
- Counting the number of entries and using http://www.random.org to generate to the entry number of the winner.
- giving the pwize to the first anipal to DM.
- Prize Master announces Winner
Winner must tweet or DM Prize Master/Mistress - time delay is at the discretion of the Prize Master/Mistress
If Winner does not contact Prize Master/Mistress then another winner is chosen. - Prize Master Enters the winner's twitter handle into the pwize spreadsheet and asks the winner to give their info to the pwize donor via DM. We will not be storing personal info in the spreadsheet. If necessary, the prizemaster can relay the information.
- Please follow the rules
- Please NOTE whether prizes can ship internationally or are for US only
- Please ignore DM from anipals in the same household during your shift.
- Do we keep track of winners and prevent them from winning several items?
- We need to discuss resellers and those running serial scams. I'm told this is none of our business. I, however, feel it's opportunistic and dishonest.
- Does the winner have to be present to win>?
- If the winner isn't in the target country, they may give their prize to a friend from that country.
